I have something to say to...(continued)

I have something to say to...(continued)

Hey guys! Thanks for your patience during the last few days, the post which you all have been awaiting for is finally here=) Here it is:

I have something to say to:

My buddies frm River Valley (Brandon, Enrico and Vincent)

Brandon
The most physically fit and sensible among the four of us, I feel very secure and safe whenever you are around=) Miss your interesting comments such as "I will slap you arh" and "Guo Hui go play fiesta!" haha..

Enrico
You are the one whom I can connect with most easily, used to chat with you over the phone for looong hours, talking about anything in the sun=D Wonder if you still have the passion for singing? The gang of four can meet up for a kbox session someday hehe..

Vincent
I still can remember those days in RV when we played soccer and computer games in your house after school:) A very loyal friend to have, though you have become rather zhong4 se4 qing1 you3 throughout the past few years.. Thanks for helping me out by recommending a job to me!

My buddies from Catholic High (Daniel, Vincent and Xingzhi)

Daniel
Xiao3 hei1 describes you perfectly---small-sized and tanned, you possess a very interesting personality.. The duo comprising you and Xing Zhi always have been the primary source of entertainment during our kbox sessions lol:D Its hard not to laugh when you are around.. Felt really touched when you shed tears as you bade goodbye to us at the chalet T.T

Vincent
The exact duplicate of me! We simply have too many things in common: Jay Chou, basketball and singing.. One that you can share problems with and expect him to share some in return.. You are one who can go through thick and thin with me=> Mugging sessions and basketball trainings at Kim Seng CC were absolutely fun with you around and I hope to see you again before you leave for NS!

Xing Zhi
Hmm its seems like you are very well informed regarding the personal lives of many people lol.. Wonder how you managed to dig out those information when people tried all ways and means to bury them deep in the ground haha=P At first I know you as millionaire boy (cause he participated in the first episode of Who Wants to be a Millionaire pri sch special) and now you are considered a commando man already hehe.. Good Luck!

My buddies from National Junior College (Alvin, Cindy and Shi Jun)

Alvin
From what I have seen you are a "people" person, as you really love to include your friends in whatever you do lol.. Being your friend will never feel lonely and people will find it easy to communicate with you;) You are also one whom I can share problems with and lend a listening ear to troubled souls, so continue to keep it that way!

Cindy
Didn't really get the opportunity to know you well until we graduated from NJ.. Always more than ready to help me, be it advice or job.. I really appreciated all that you have done for me though sometimes things dun go un the way we want them to be.. My best farewell gift from NJ was our friendship=)

Shi Jun
MY SI GI NA! My most trusted crapper in NJ, the days in NJ would have been unbearable without you sia.. Hooray I got the chance to "caress" your bald head in Marina Square today.. Heard from you that it brings luck, maybe I will strike some lottery real soon lol! Remember to look for me whenever you are out from the "chalet" and share your spooky or funny experience with me=]

NJ Harmoc

NJ Harmoc is my pride:) It is a big family where harmophiles forge strong, everlasting friendships and develop their burning passion for harmoc.. After seeing NJ Harmoc growing from strength to strength and eventually emerging as the champion in this year's SYF (the only school to attain Gold with Honours) reinforced my belief that all the sacrifices made by not only me, but the EXCO and the rest of the band have been worth it:D Being the president was a difficult undertaking and I was fortunate to have the support of a group of highly dedicated and motivated EXCO members.. Other members which form the backbone of the band contributed to our success most significantly.. Including Mr Tang, Mr Song and Mrs Teai, NJHB is a formiable force to be reckoned with!

OMG its exactly 12am now.. Yep thats the end for 2007, looking forward to 2008!:D

Harmoc Day

Harmoc Day

I used to think that leaving harmoc would spell the end of an exciting phase of my life, but today, my fellow Harmophiles (Harmoc-seeking) had proven me otherwise..

Octave finally had a sectional outing today, and it was fantastic in my opinion=) The octavians met at 11am in AMK bus interchange but I was unable to join them due to an emergency which only Wuzhen and I would know hehe.. We decided to meet up before looking for the rest of the octavians when Wuzhen suggested playing a nice little trick on them.. She told them she would be bringing a friend along and requested them to reserve 2 seats for her when in truth I was supposed to be the mysterious "friend".. I played along with her and informed Jamie that I wasn't going, citing the following as my reason: My friend just told me he was rejected by his loved one and harbouring suicidal thoughts, I cant help worrying about him and will visit him instead of going outing.. So sorry.. LOL!! Jamie actually fell for the trick and Wuzhen believed it initially=P Hard to describe their shocked faces when they saw me and Wuzhen entering the restaurant lol.. Took several pictures there, will post it as soon as I receive those photos from Wuzhen=) Went to fly kite afterwards in a park at Ang Mo Kio where I rediscovered my childhood.. The Guo-s (Guorong and Guo Hui) invented an unique way of playing the see-saw and provided a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the entire octave muahaha.. Visited Jia Neng's house later.. Her dog (with the name Brown) is sooo cute! It likes to turn round and round, trying to catch its tail and apparently it also obeyed my command when I said "shake hands!" The performers went for a quick shower before we left for Jamie's house.. What I found amusing was that her house contained a whole collection of Pokemon and Digimon figures which I managed to identify them one by one effortlessly=) Yeah I could finally display my vast knowledge of pokemon and digimon, similar to what Zhi Rui did during the Harmoc xmas party.. Its wasn't long before we set off to Dhoby Ghaut for the performance=D

The juniors were busy preparing for the performance at Plaza Singapura and I also helped out by carrying the heavier musical instuments from Mr Song's car boot.. Other seniors arrived shortly and I was glad to see many of the seniors (both J2s and J3s) turn up.. J2s: Angeline, Yi Fang, Shu Lin, Xinying, Guorong, Pei Wen, Wuzhen, Yu Ting and J3s: Shu Fen, Deborah, Elieen, Eugenia, Jiat Sing, Hwee Hwee, Jane, Ting Hui... Matthew was not considered exactly there, he was living in my handphone and listening to the concert at that moment haha.. I believe we can form a strong and supportive Alumni after witnessing the passion they still have for Harmoc=) The performance started at 7.30pm sharp and Harmoc played a variety of songs, both new and familiar, but nonetheless pleasing to the ear=) They performed the following songs: Tong Hua, La Spagnola, Spirited Away, Happy Farmer, Frosty the Snowman.. I shouted "Encore" out loud and soon the audience followed, being influenced by our enthusiasm the kind emcee requested Mr Tang to conduct for another song again=) Simply felt thrilled when I heard loud applause for NJ Harmoc after the performance.. The seniors made their way to the "backstage" or rather the performers' area to congratulate on their successful performance and express our gratitude for the wonderful night=D Photo-taking sessions took over with much chattering and laughter, which was the undeniable trademark of NJ Harmoc---A family of warmth and love.. Gladys, as the current President of NJ Harmoc, tried to initiate the famous NJ Ya cheer after much persuasion from the seniors (including me, too old for such stuff la as you can see) and the result was simply hilarious haha=P Most of the Harmoc were stunned before reacting to join in the cheer and end Gladys's embarrassment lol.. Hmm maybe the EXCO can include "cheerleading" as one of the main criteria for selecting Presidents in the future hehe=) I departed with much unwillingless after saying goodbye to octave and Mr Song.. The day was long and exhausting but I still enjoyed it every bit=) I am looking forward to the next event or outing with Harmoc already! ^_^

Quote of the Day:

The world will be MUCH better if people learn to hate a little LESS and love a little MORE.

Welcome

Welcome

To my closest buddies, dearest friends, other people who may know or may not know me, myself, welcome to this blog. I used to have the perception that blogging is actually a waste of time; yep that opnion still hasn't change, as you can see l have plenty of time to burn lol.. In addition, my experience of life is simply too eventful for me not to write it down somewhere.. But I am not going to describe those unforgettable moments, be it joyous or sorrowful, as I believe one should look forward to the future instead of drowning in the past..

Went to Harmoc x'mas party yesterday evening.. Earlier that day I was still shopping for the gift for the gifts exchange when something really interesting caught my eye.. It was an electronic coaster with a metallic surface which can be connected to the computer via usb to warm your drink while you are surfing the net.. Cool rite? I immediately bought it and met up with my buddies for a couple of drinks.. Afterwards I went home, feeling blur blur and exhausted.. It wasn't long before l fell asleep and to my horror my alarm didnt ring and thus l was late in meeting up with the harmoc people at Kovan! Paiseh=X Yup continue with the story.. When I met up with the juniors I was greeted by another unpleasant surprise----The J2 guys all pang seh me!!! None of them went.. I still thought Matthew would go *winks* but luckily the juniors were still as funny as ever, with intriguing
abbreviations like BJ aka Boon Jin, denny whining for another guy to accompany him to the gents and zhi rui aka rattata showing off his knowledge of chinese names of ALL the mrt stations in singapore lol.. Felt abit younger with those guys, the difference between a 17 year old and 18 year old is really huge.. We started walking towards gladys house after most of the people had arrived and suddenly saw a kindergarden named "Catholic Kindergarden", questions such as these began popping up in my mind---"Is it a boys' sch?" "Anyone frm there who went to cat high pri, sec and finally, jc?" "Do they teach the boys there to be gentlemen of high integrity, robust character, passionate about life, learning and service to others?" This showed that the propaganda by our Mr Lee was successful lol.. We reached gladys house shortly and started our party.. Right here l have something to clarify.. I wasn't emo-ing when l was sitting at the corner and looking up to the sky!! I was merely performing a magic trick to bear bear which required me to turn my back to him!! Okay enough for that.. By the way her house was really cosy.. to the extent that l fell asleep on the sofa in her basement! Perhaps not sleeping on the night before contributed to my weariness too.. The food was okay, with special highlight on zhi rui's wonderful cheesecake.. Hope the girls would never discover what the guys did with the cake hehe, if not we would be in deep trouble.. Played some games later and some unlucky ppl had to wear disgusting stuffs on their faces, yucks.. Finally the gifts exchange.. A big thank you to Jasmine for your cool gift=) Went home quickly after the party to catch the tv program featuring wuzhen and her life story.. Saw Kiat Sheng on my way home and he shared his experience in the army with me.. I enjoyed the conversation, especially "caressing" his bald head lol.. Maybe I shouldn't work so hard to pass my napfa test (especially pull-up) so I could join them instead of rotting in Singapore haha.. Managed to watch the show later and was inspired by wuzhen's positive attitude towards life and happiness in being ordinary=) You made me realise that achieving happiness is really simple.. But on how to achieve that is another complex issue.. Anyway, proud to have you as part of the big harmoc family and as a friend=)

Couldn't sleep that night again.. perhaps I am evolving into some kind of nocturnal human.. fyi mammoth's a prehistoric animal thats already extinct.. and I got a book on evolution from my sis as christmas present after she caught me watching the "Walking with" series on youtube lol.. maybe that can help me explain the kind of evolution which I am going through right now.. I am fine with being another spiderman or cyclops haha.. thanks sis=) Dear readers out there, continue to expect more entries as this blogger apparently has tons of time to post many more entries, whether meaningful or just plain crappy and cya the next time!=)
