Job and Career
Do you really know the difference between job and career? Many dun understand why I chose to take on several different jobs instead of deciding on one that is office-related which comes with a reasonable pay and comfortable working conditions. My response to the above comment is simple. It is based on the belief that accumulating various working experiences reaps much more benefits than clinging onto only one job. The latter is only a short term solution to a long term problem, my job seeking experience was the cause of my paradigm shift; it proved that it didn't matter whether I scored straight As for my O levels, it only showed how difficult it was for someone with limited working experience to get himself a decent job. The crux lies in being employable and not in being employed. Exposure of different working backgrounds will enable one to acquire a range of useful skills that can be used effectively somewhere else. Well, it is a cold hard fact that the employee has always been the victim of exploitation by the employer; let's accept this reality and move on. Perhaps the only solution to avoid being exploited is to exploit others by being the employer. Financial equality may just be another myth in the society today...
